November 17, 2016 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm| Free
Partners, Members, Supporters, and new friends —
Please join us for our Middle-West TN Clean Fuels Coalition meeting at the Cypress Grove Park in Jackson, TN!
We will have several speakers on projects and technologies, provide updates on on-going projects and new and existing funding opportunities, and, as always, have networking time with fellow fleet managers and industry specialists.
Please RSVP via this link if you plan to attend. The event is free and you do not need to bring a ticket, but please RSVP so we know you’re coming. We’d appreciate it if you RSVP’d by Oct. 30.
Directions to the meeting room:
- From Airways Blvd., turn down the road marked with a large sign that reads “City of Jackson Cypress Grove Park”
- From the main parking lot at the end of this road, we will be meeting in the first building you see (12-15 yards from the lot)
- In the building, follow signs to Cypress Grove Nature Study (classroom)
After the meeting, we have arranged a private tour of Rusty’s TV & Movie Car Museum in Downtown Jackson, just a few minutes down the road. It is going to be a blast! Check out this video to learn more about the Museum!
We will also be offering two FedEx Tours. The deadline to register for those tours is Oct. 19. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up for the tours when you register!
Here are the tour details:
4 pm – “The Hydrogen + CNG Tour”: FedEx Express maintains the only operational hydrogen vehicles in Tennessee, and they operate at Memphis International Airport (MEM). They are GSE, or ground service equipment, and this tour will provide an opportunity to glimpse these vehicles in their natural habitat. Additionally, some CNG vehicles and infrastructure are coming to the airport and we will see where this equipment will be placed near the airport. Hurry! Space is limited to the first 7 people who sign up for this tour!
10 pm – “The FedEx Experience Tour”: Think of FedEx Express as an airline company that also has trucks. Now, consider that MEM is the 2nd largest cargo airport in the world, only behind Shanghai. Add you as a tour member and you end up with one heck of a show as we will get to see what it looks like to bring in cargo from all over the world, unload, reorganize and reload it, and send it back out… all on planes. It’s not called the “FedEx Experience Tour” for nothing. Hurry! Space is limited to the first 12 people who sign up for this tour!
